Fill your vase half to two thirds full with water and add the flower food included with your flowers.
Remove the protective wrap, elastic band and wadding from the flowers and cut a length of twine.
With one stem in your left hand, place another over it at a slight angle, turn and then repeat.
When all the stems have been used, use the length of twine to bind the stems together and tie.
Trim the stems at a 45 degree angle to a length suitable for display in the vase.
Place your hand-tied arrangement in the vase and enjoy the display, replacing the water when needed.
