About our centrepieces

Our Florist centrepieces include decorative candle holders and candles that sit amidst fresh seasonal flowers and foliage. They will make a wonderful display for 7 days but to help their longevity, always follow the detailed care instructions included.

After care

When your centrepiece arrangement arrives, unpack it immediately. The flowers are arranged in florist foam that need to be kept moist so check the foam to see if fresh water is required. Any watering will need to be done in or by a sink, on the draining area. Slowly trickle water through the foliage in the arrangement (avoiding the flowers) until the florist foam is damp to touch. Then check the water has drained and that there is no excess dripping before moving your arrangement to your chosen display position. We suggest placing a protective and heat-resistant mat underneath the arrangement to help protect any furniture and polished surfaces. For the candle, remove all the packaging and ensure it is stable and upright before lighting. Try to keep the wick trimmed to 6mm for optimum flame size and stop burning the candle when the flame reaches 5cm above the foliage.
